How do I know which products are best for me?

The best way is to simply call REPLENISH at either Armadale or Dandenong and make an appointment for a skin consultation. At this appointment, we will assess your skin and discuss the treatment options available to address your areas of concern. A skin care treatment program will be designed specifically for you.

Some of the CosMedix products contain retinols, acids and other active ingredients that may be harmful to your skin if used inappropriately. It is very important for us to look at your skin and develop a tailored skin care program for you.

I have very dry skin, it flakes, looks dull and has fine lines all over it. What should I do?

• AM:
        CosMedix Benefit clean
        CosMedix Affirm or Radiance mixed with Pure C crystals
        CosMedix Serious protection
        CosMedix Emulsion.
• PM:
        CosMedix Benefit clean
        Cosmedix Define or Refine
        Cosmedix Emulsion
        CosMedix Rescue balm some nights as a mask.
• Consider regular CosMedix Benefit peels (performed by a medical professional) alternating with microdermabrasion treatments.
• If your diet is deficient, consider modifications to improve the nutrition delivered to your skin.
• Cease smoking (if applicable).
• Address environmental factors that contribute to dehydrating the skin.

I have brown pigmentation staining on my face. Whenever I get a pimple, the affected skin turns dark after it heals. What can I do for this?

NB: this program may not suit sensitive skin.
• AM:

        CosMedix Lightning or Lightning MD
        CosMedix Serious protection
        +/- a moisturiser.
• PM:
        CosMedix Purity cleanser

• Consider Kligman's formula (prescription required from doctor) instead of CosMedix Lightning/Lightning MD/Refine especially if pigmentation is hormonal (melasma / cloasma)
• Consider medical grade laser for pigmentation.
• Not suitable for peels

I have sensitive skin that becomes red and irritated very easily. What can I do to look after my skin?

        CosMedix Affirm with Pure C crystals (if tolerated)
        CosMedix Reflect or Serious Protection
        CosMedix Emulsion if skin is dry
        CosMedix Phytoharmony or Phytoclear if skin is not dry.
• PM:
        CosMedix Benefit  clean
        CosMedix Affirm with Pure C crystals (when AM dose is tolerated)
        CosMedix Emulsion if skin is dry
        CosMedix Phytoharmony or Phytoclear if skin not dry.
• Consider adding CosMedix Define as tolerated in PM.
• Consider a CosMedix Benefit peel every 2-4 weeks.

I have very oily skin with enlarged pores. What is the best skin care for me?

• AM:
        CosMedix Purity clean
        CosMedix Purity balance mixed with Pure C crystals

        CosMedix Mystic spray for moisture.
• PM:
        CosMedix Purity clean
        CosMedix Purity balance
        CosMedix Define or Refine to start.

I have acneic skin with blackheads. What is best for me?

I have acne with cysts and redness. What can I do?

• PM:

        CosMedix Clarity serum or Clear mask every few nights as tolerated.
• Consider regular CosMedix Purity peels, or Jessner, Salicylic, Glycolic peels.
• Medical advice is required if acne is severe or causing scarring. Cystic acne is particularly difficult to treat and may require Photodynamic Therapy or Roaccutane.
• If your diet is deficient, consider modifications to improve the nutrition delivered to your skin.

I have permanent redness (rosacea) over my face. Is there anything that I can do?

• PM:

• Usually a prescription of Rozex (metronidazole) gel is required to be used twice daily.
• Medical grade laser treatments for broken capillaries.
• When skin is not as red, consider adding CosMedix Pure C crystals to AM, and CosMedix Define to PM.
• Consider CosMedix Benefit Peels when skin has settled.
