 Lipodissolve - Overview

Lipodissolve is a safe, affordable and gentler alternative to liposuction to treat exercise and diet resistant fat deposits on the body and face.
The active fat dissolving ingredient is phosphatidycholine (PPC). This substance occurs naturally in every cell of our body and plays a role in our body’s metabolism. Injectable PPC comes from the soy plant and is mixed with selected vitamins and minerals specifically designed to increase the body’s ability to clear fat and stimulate metabolism. PPC works by bursting the cell wall, permanently destroying the fat cells.
A local anaesthetic cream is applied to the skin before a series of micro-fine injections are administered. Each treatment takes about 10 minutes to perform and you may need 1-4 treatments to each area at 8-week intervals depending on your individual response, the body region being treated and the amount of fat present. The dissolving of fat cells is permanent and fat will not return to the area.
The most common areas treated with Lipodissolve are fat deposits around the abdomen, thighs, “love handles”, back, buttocks, legs above the knees, chin, cheeks, neck and upper arms. Lipodissolve is also the ideal treatment for cellulite on the legs and buttocks as it dissolves the fat AND firms the overlying skin.
After the treatment, there will be a degree of swelling, redness, bruising and discomfort that will persist for several days. Lipodissolve continues to work dissolving fat for up to 8 weeks. People often start seeing the beginning of changes to their fat around 3 weeks after treatment and full results will be seen at 8 weeks. Results will vary between patients depending on the amount and type of fat they have and on their own individual response to treatment. Results are measured in centimeters lost from the area.
Lipodissolve treatment is minimally invasive and a gentler method for eliminating accumulations of stubborn fat in problem areas and is ideal for both men and women.
